#edutwitter #doddlelearn Hi teachers, has anyone else been struggling to access Doddle Learn since June 2023? I’ve tried to contact them and no reply. I have a feeling they have gone into insolvency. I paid for my subscription personally and would really like this sorted out. 😬

@DeptSlg are utilising technology with department meetings between staff “on site” @SLGBallymena and in Vietnam. Clearing missing each other already. It’s going to be a long year!!

Year 14 carried out a rat dissection today in preparation for their A23 practical paper. Students learned essential dissection skills!

Our medal winners from the Biology Olympiad! We are so proud of them. Competing against over 13000 students, they really showed their biological knowledge and problem-solving skills. 2 slivers and a bronze. Well done! @SLGBallymena

Yesterday the top year 10 science students enjoyed a trip to the Northern Ireland Science Summer School. They listened to a talk from Professor Brian Cox and participated several workshops ranging from extracting DNA to exploring planets! @DeptSlg @SLGBallymena @SLGChemistry

Our Year 13 pupils successfully hydrolysed starch to see Benedict's solution changing from a blue liquid to a brick red 🧱 precipitate.
