We are sorry to hear of the passing of Yoshihisa Kishimoto, creator of the legendary Double Dragon and Kunio-kun (River City) series. WayForward was greatly inspired by his works, and it was an honor to explore the universe he created.

With the smaller cart size now in circulation, there seems to be a rise in physical Switch 2 games, finally. Big corpos still cheap out and do code-in-a-box, but more and more AA/indies understand the value a proper physical release brings. Only took us a year after launch. XD

So.. keep blowing this up please! The team have seen it, how much you want FF8 stuff, and conversations are happening already. I can't give details, but it's exciting! Let's just say that you all just motivated the heck out of the modders with how much you want FF8 to grow...
