@thatjameswest Hi, James. Sorry to hear about this. Can you let us know which grit bins these are. We can't quite tell from the pictures you've sent. Thanks -GP

Hey @DerbyCC no grit bins in Peartree have any grit in them. A couple - including this one on Peartree Crescent - clearly haven’t been topped up since long before the cold snap as they were full of rubbish. I’ve already seen one poor old fella slip up today, can they be filled?

@MarkMarriot87 @arrivamidlandsE @ArrivaUKBus Good afternoon Mark, as we've said (many times) in our private messages to you and detailed in our bio, X is not a customer service channel and we cannot process complaints here. Please use the proper channels on our website or the Arriva website. Thank you.

@arrivamidlandsE @ArrivaUKBus @DerbyCC This is the full, unedited video of your driver threatening, abusing and being extremely aggressive towards a vulnerable disabled adult that he left stranded in Derby City Centre, for no valid reason, on Friday 21st November 2025. As you have ignored me and failed to provide any solution to the issue I have raised multiple times in private since then, I have been left with no other choice but to upload this to social media for everyone to see. This video proves that what he has told his depot manager is a blatant lie, and I hope he suffers severe consequences that his actions deserve. This man is ableist and an extremely dangerous individual, and I warn everyone in Derby City to be careful approaching him.

***UPDATE 10:06pm, 14/11/2025*** We have closed the floodgates on Sowter Road and by the Waterside Inn. The heavy rain has also led to lots of surface water which is causing some low-lying flooding around the city.

@MarkMarriot87 Hi Mark, we remove flags where they pose a clear safety risk and continue to review the situation. We’re working with police and partners through the Community Safety Partnership to monitor displays and ensure any reports of hate crime or harassment are properly addressed.

@DerbyCC Hello. When do you plan to remove the St. George’s Flags that are on every lamppost from Nottingham Road, Chaddesden towards Pentagon Island? These flags are being used as a symbol of violence, fear and division and to intimidate anyone who is "non-British" in the area.

@DerbyCC my wife was involved in a car accident on burton Road 5 weeks ago. directly due to the new lights at burton Road/ring road. The queues from the city towards littleover are larger now than during the road works! What are you going to do about it????

@DentistWhoRuns Hi, there could be a few reasons for this. Sometimes this is because of what's in them and if this is the case we'll leave a tag. If you haven't received a tag there may be another reason. You can report it as missed on our website 👉 #page-1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">derby.gov.uk/environment-an…

@cole_davesc66 @blaiklockBP @Derbyshirecc Hello David. Unfortunately this is a loophole that many make use of. We can monitor taxis registered and licensed by DCC but don't have the same powers with vehicles licensed elsewhere. We will look into any case that is affecting you if you privately message us with details.

@DerbyCC why do none of your SEND team ever answer phones or emails? I have an urgent enquiry and as usual nobody is there to help. The whole department is an absolute joke.
