🚨DARLEY ABBEY MILLS BRIDGE, JUNE 12 UPDATE🚨 Our contractor will begin preliminary groundworks on Monday 15 June to prepare for sheet piling works and the crane needed to remove Walters Walkway.

🚨RIVER DERWENT INCIDENT🚨 We’re saddened to hear of a water rescue incident at Darley Abbey this afternoon (Friday 10 July). A teenage boy was safely removed from the water, and a search has been launched. Our thoughts are with all those affected. orlo.uk/8A6kV

Please support our teams by staying well away from the area: do not attempt to access the bridge, bypass safety fencing, enter the site, or enter the water near the bridge or weir

While these works are essential, they will increase the risk to the already compromised bridge structure. All necessary precautions are being taken
