Thank you very much to everyone who has entered our Summer Sizzler L3 meet at Moorways 11-12th July. The meet is now full and we will not be able to accept any more entries.

The Trustees will immediately begin the process of finding a new Director of Swimming to continue Glenn’s great work with Derby Excel. Our aim is to have the new coach in place for the start of the new season.

Sadly, our Director of Swimming Glenn Fisher has decided to step down, and will leave the role at the end of the season. We will greatly miss his expertise and, enthusiasm, and wish him all the very best for the future.

Joyce Mellor We are deeply saddened to learn that Derby Excel's Past President Joyce Mellor has passed away, aged 95. On behalf of everyone at Derby Excel, we send our sincere condolences to Joyce's family. RIP Joyce.
