Celebrating 10 years since the release of Green Lake. What a swim it was and I remain incredibly proud of what our small but talented team created for this ode to b-horror and the Obake Files. The brilliant score by @matthewcreid and songs by Delight Talkies and Technical Difficulties / Trever Veilleuxenrich the experience exponentially with the film’s sound mix by Pip Norton bringing it all together. What resonates the most is that the actual Green Lake and entire area we filmed in, no longer exists. In 2018, lava flowing from Kīlauea’s lower Puna eruption boiled it away, completely filling the basin. The eruption dissolved the island’s largest body of freshwater in only five hours. Our little film stands as a testament to the beauty and power of this special place. #greenlake #hawaii #bigisland #horrorfilm #indiehorror
