Why couldn’t they leave Bello in that role last spring when he was trending the same exact way?

@Seth_3773 The problem is that he is out of position because he doesn’t move like he used to. Normally he starts in the outfield grass in that situation but he isnt moving good and probably worried about the batter being involved a play at 2nd base.

Happy birthday to This Man, Charles Johnson, one of the greatest defensive catchers in MLB history (and he could also swing it some).
He had perhaps the greatest defensive catching season ever in 1997, was a World Series masher, and memorably batted .304 with 31 homers in 2000.
