Okay folks, bad news… Due to train issues in Manchester Piccadilly, I won’t be able to make it to my Manchester signing this afternoon. Manchester signings are always HUGE and wonderful and we really didn’t want to have to postpone, but we have no choice.

@BartyFrost Hiya Sean- her magic is different because it’s something she could never turn off, and so doesn’t need to obey the same rules as other disciplines. I see it as an ability permanently grafted to her physical body.

@zainzzaman Hiya Zain — maybe give Hell Breaks Loose a go. That takes place IN the main series but it's not PART of the main series, so it's pretty standalone...

@DerekLandy hello I remember reading a lot of the skullduggery pleasant series years ago but I dont remember when I stopped. What is a good book to jump back in. The new ones I've read a lot of the earlier ones so something that is kind of standalone and recent.

The great thing about the reaction to the Doomsday trailers in cinemas (which I still haven’t seen) is the the love for James Marsden as Cyclops. Jackman got all the attention, which made sense, but i always wanted the movies to spend more time with Scott Summers.

I reckon I did pretty well this Christmas- how about you?

@DerekLandy I’ve even struggled to read the Wimpy Kid books sometimes, but the pictures break up the text and are very visual, so I am better with them. He’s a great writer, but my interest is in the fantasy/sci-fi genre, not a kid just in school haha, so I really want to read your books.

@DerekLandy hi, is the graphic novel canon with the books? Do I need lore to read it?

@CharlesJohnDaw2 You could try the audiobooks, if that’s any better for you…?

@DerekLandy You’re welcome! I’d struggle to read the books, but I want them so much, I might just buy them, even if I just flick through them and try, cos they’ve been books I wanted for years! My friend used to carry the latest copy round with him and I was always jealous haha 😆

@DerekLandy Thank you for replying to me, (especially so quickly!) means a lot! I’m reading it quite literally as we speak. The front covers of the books make me want to read them so bad, & I love Skulduggery so much, but struggle to process verbal stuff without visual aids cos I’m autistic.
