Please remember immigration has actually benefited the UK by filling critical skill and labour shortages - in fact without immigrants our public services - particularly health and social care would not be able to function. Immigration has also boosted economic growth and productivity and increased tax revenue. In fact one of the most egregious myths surrounding immigration is the idea that immigrants act as a drain on the public finances when in fact the complete opposite is true. And immigration has fostered innovation and enriched cultural diversity. Please don’t fall for the divisive politics of Reform
