People be like: "I need an editor soo much!" Me: "I can do!" Them: "Oh, I'm not looking for an editor rn" but then 2 months later they have someone editing for them. What you meant was you didn't want ME doing it. Just say that then.

@AllianceAlly Good on you for kicking them to the curb! 💪💪 I have never understood the people thinking they "own" someone or that they can control or dictate what someone else does or feels. Ultimately that sort of control is an illusion. If people like me, cool! If not, that's cool too.

I keep thinking back how my life would have been if i didn't cut a certain person off. I wouldn't have close friends or be able to do collaboration without a huge weight on my chest. I probably wouldn't have any male friends either... But now I am thriving without them
