It's the last Football Focus today so I thought I'd watch it to see why it's the last one and then I saw why it's the last one - it's been killed off by wokeness!
Hull, the team that finished 6th in the Championship (10pts behind the team that finished 3rd-1 pt behind the team who finished 2nd) have beaten the team who finished 5th and who were 7pts ahead of them over the season, to reach the Premier League. Time to scrap the playoffs.
Whoever is Prime Minister in the coming months for heaven’s sake try to get David Miliband back into UK politics to be part of your team. His interview on Today programme just now a reminder of how much his voice and his brain are missed.
Carole Vorderman has just delivered a powerful, no-holds-barred response to Reform UK’s Rob Kenyon (the Pervy Plumber candidate in Makerfield) after his disgusting misogynistic comments about her.
She calls him an online abuser and says straight: “If he was a local plumber in my area, I wouldn’t let him through the front door.”
This is serious. Women (and anyone with daughters) in Makerfield need to see this.

Katie Price says her husband Lee Andrews has been declared a missing person after allegedly vanishing in Dubai.
The former glamour model claims she last spoke to him during a disturbing FaceTime call in which he appeared to have his hands tied and said he had been ‘captured’ before the phone cut out.
Lee had reportedly been trying to travel back to the UK for a planned TV appearance with Katie when his location suddenly went offline.
Dubai police and the British Embassy are said to have been contacted as the search continues.
I’m sorry Katie Price’s life genuinely feels like a never-ending soap opera. Every few months there’s another crisis, another headline, another piece of chaos.
At some point you stop even knowing what to believe because every story sounds more unbelievable than the last.
Harry Kane has spoken out in defence of his wife Kate after cruel comments on Instagram claimed he "could do better" and labelled her as not being a typical WAG.
Describing her as "endearing, funny, kind and beautiful," Kane opened up about the hurt caused by online abuse when questioned by a journalist.
"It's far too easy for people to go online, throw out abuse, and carry on like it's normal," he said.
A class act as always.
