Yeah, the terrible pain of eating a £12,000 lunch in Disneyland. The awful conditions on the private jets & helicopters. The unbearable burden of £billions his wife gets from oil licences he issued. Always remember, he's suffering for YOU. Be grateful itv.com/news/2023-08-1…

Some waiting times for specialist clinics in the #NHS are 18 months. What is the point of that. By that time, either the condition will be gone, or the patient will have suffered for a year and a half, or they might even be dead. That is no service at all.

If ever we needed more evidence of how appalling the NHS can be at acting on the legitimate concerns of staff who are morally, professionally and legally obliged to blow the whistle, this is it. The mother of all cover ups, until it was too big to deny. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-661209…

Will any of those responsible for allowing this be punished? Never again should the #NHS be described as the envy of the world. bbc.com/news/uk-661209…

Another win for short but frequent exercise. In older adults with mild cognitive impairment, 9-minute “exercise snacks” twice per day (over 28 days) was feasible, enjoyable, and showed promising effects on physical function. Great work from @MaxJWestern and co. bmcgeriatr.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
