Not a cloud in the sky over Ireland on April 29th..and very little forest on view.
Once the island had ~80% forested. Now just ~11% remains and just ~2% of that is actually native woodland. Europes lowest.
We didn’t just lose trees — we lost huge swathes of ecosystems.

@XEnergyIreland @MtbMayo I exported 25kw yesterday, obviously battery was full very quickly and I had nothing to use up the energy. Thing is in my neighbourhood they are getting very common so from my basic guess all the electricity on the entire street came from neighbours

@MtbMayo Yes reduction of demand *and* pushes up the grid's % SNSP ....making curtailment of the commercial solar farms (and wind farms) more likely. An unintended consequence.
