Good morning @JHBWater are aware of the water problems in Beverley, Dainfern, Lonehill and surrounding areas. Teams are onsite busy trying to figure out the situation.This is an ongoing issue since the repair on Uranium Road starting last Thursday evening. No water + low pressure

Good morning, the Beverley burst pipe was resolved last night. The Uranium Street burst required the water to be turned off at Monte Casino affecting a large area. The 300mm pipe is still draining for repairs to take place. Traffic is affected on Uranium and Bushwillow, take care

@cllrfoleyward94 @JHBWater @cllrfoleyward94 what is the update here ?? I spoke to the call centre last night and early hours of the morning and they advised that they were awaiting a welder to weld pipe ??? I also drove past the sight last night and there was no one on site! 😤

the part will not be ready tonight. This means water cannot be restored tonight based on the work still to be done. If there are further developments I will engage accordingly. I will ask for water tanks early tomorrow morning if the resolution is not forthcoming fast enough.

🛠️#JoburgUpdates Protea Glen extension 12 to 40 mainenance update: The repair work has been completed; however, most parts of the affected areas still do not have water. Water tankers have been deployed to the affected areas. ^P

The burst pipe has been exposed at the end of Mulbarton Road in Beverley. The rain has delayed the repair to some extent. Welding would need to be done but the welder is just busy on another job not far away. The team will continue working during the night to repair.
