Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City failed for two reasons and two reasons only: 1. The Script 2. The Budget That’s it. Johannes Roberts’ heart was in the right place but he was given absolutely nothing to work with. A script that combined Resident Evil 1 and 2 was never, EVER going to work as there was simply too much ground to cover in just two hours. That script should have never been approved and the blame lies solely on Screen Gems and Constantin Film. Then there’s the budget. 25 million may seem like a lot, but that simply isn’t enough to cover a film of this scale. Sony got cheap and that cheapness affected castings, CGI, scale, production, literally everything. WTRC was hampered right out of the gate and was never going to succeed under these conditions. Making a faithful Resident Evil film shouldn’t be this hard. Give the film a 50 million dollar budget, hire an up and coming horror director who loves the games and give him or her a great script that focuses on Resident Evil 1 and ONLY Resident Evil 1. This isn’t rocket science Hollywood, so stop acting like it is.

This is ultimately what really matters. As long as third-party products are doing great on the platform, the Nintendo Switch 2 will keep getting new games. Developers will put effort if that effort is compensated.

@ZikadaPrime @TRIPSTER0 I still stand by if he put all that negative energy into something positive like a hobby, he’d excel tremendously. It’s amazing because it genuinely does take more energy to be negative than to be positive.

So the main difference between me and @TRIPSTER0 is that unlike them, you can come to my stream and actually debate me on Nintendo and console topics. I don't hide from actual conversation.

I hate to involve myself with potential console war stuff because I game and love all 3 consoles. But if we're honest, Nintendo is hated for hypothetical scenarios. Playstation and Xbox actually do what y'all fear Nintendo might do.
