I do understand that nothing can be done, and that it's not generally in the 80's in Iowa in March, but I would be so pissed if I had to play a NCAA Tournament game when it was 81 degrees and rising in the arena.

But he wasn't related to anyone famous so no news.
For heaven's sake. What is going on here?
Thomas Reuter's remains were found in 2024 by a hiker. He was reported missing in January 2024 after he went on a walk. In 2025, his remains were identified.
Unsolved.
No answers as to what happened to him? Natural causes or foul play?

@wrkhrdplayhrd63 @Nerdy_Addict I haven’t paid super close attention to the Idaho 4 case but my understanding is that they only had Kohberger’s DNA on the clasp of the knife sheath which was left at the scene. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had blood from one of the victims that also was in the profile.

@DesertFoxv2 @Nerdy_Addict Didn’t they have to separate DNA in the Idaho murders? They had the subject’s and one of the victims, the one that fought back I believe. I thought that ended up being one of the strongest pieces of evidence because it showed he had to be there when she was killed. I’m guessing…

@Klocat05 @Nerdy_Addict If the DNA they have is from 5 or more contributors then it’s very possible that they can’t separate them from each other and that can’t be put into CODIS. Only single profiles can be placed into CODIS. Even if you have reference samples and can remove some contributors the

@BrianEntin What part of photo it, alert law enforcement, and don’t touch it does this lady not understand? It could throw a wrench in prosecution if it is actually involved. She would have to go to court and testify and is open to attack now. 🤦♂️

Volunteer searchers are canvassing the neighborhood around Nancy Guthrie's house.
They found a backpack that does not match the one in the surveillance video - but deputies came and picked it up.
One searcher got emotional saying her mom is around Nancy's age.
