@GigaBeers HVAC guy here. Usually I put the copper in pvc if it needs buried. Copper takes forever to corrode, but it’s susceptible to damage from digging and the pvc helps protect it.

Fired my plumber—he buried bare copper pipe straight in the dirt, no sleeve/wrap. Claimed it’s “standard practice.”
I asked for protection from acidic soil. He called me a Karen, demanded $4k anyway, now threatens to sue. Who’s wrong?

The U.S. gov't made the prices high. (24-27% of a home's price is literally regulatory cost, and another 15-24% comes from government zoning restrictions). Also, it's hard to forget that the federal government has printed so much money that it takes more dollars to buy something.
But that's beside the point. What are you doing to fix the problem? Are you a bot? Are you compensated in any way for posting things like this?

Two things:
1. You're saying that a single Walmart store will lose $200,000 a day -- $73 million per year -- in order to get rich.
2. If a store sold spoiled meat to its customers, you'd be on here whinging about how capitalism encourages poisoning people to (yep) get rich. Nothing makes me want to shop at a store like a rip-snorting case of salmonella.
Being uneducated regarding economics is OK because anyone can learn. Willful ignorance is inexcusable, because nobody will ever believe anything you post.
