There is nothing I like to do better than help others. To make a difference in the life’s of others. So let’s do this- to all the model citizens out there I am so sorry I am not as perfect as you but I tell you what when you have raised over one hundred million dollars to actually help others please free feel to reach out. Until then do the work and actually help others and not attack others. That will be a conversation worthy of having. Respectfully. Onwards! Des

We are living in tense times. Let’s not add to it. Today, choose to be a force for good. To lift others up. To be a calm influence for a better future. Focus on that and not fueling division and distrust. Onwards!

A deranged, mentally ill transgender kills children in Minneapolis. And @NPR ended the interview and added a disclaimer that the sick killer was misgendered. And @jaketapper was more concerned in his interview about the individual being labeled a “he”. No concern for the tragically murdered children, their loved ones and the many young children traumatized. The media is the problem.

@SteaknShake Updating the brand logo is totally fine. Where leaders go wrong is when they pander to identify politics. My advice- just DON’T do it!

Sometimes, people want to change things just to put their own personality on things. At CB, their goal is to just delete the personality altogether. Hence, the elimination of the "old-timer" from the signage. Heritage is what got Cracker Barrel this far, and now the CEO wants to just scrape it all away. At Steak n Shake, we take pride in our history, our families, and American values. All are welcome. We will never market ourselves away from our past in a cheap effort to gain the approval of trend seekers.

I am against gerrymandering, but I am also against unilateral disarmament. Gavin Newsom’s plan to redistrict in California, to get more seats in 2026, and stop Trump in his tracks, should be replicated by Democratic Governors across the country. We need to actually fight here.

Donald Trump and Republicans are pushing illegal maps that violate the Voting Rights Act. Instead, Congress should pass fair, independent maps nationwide. Without that, Democratic states must consider all the options to protect our constitutional republic.

@mmpadellan When you rage and rant about Trump you lose all credibility and certainly all objectivity. Give that some thought and give the hate a rest. It’s tiring.

I'm not a foreign policy expert, but having a summit in Alaska to decide what happens to Ukraine WITHOUT THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE seems pretty fucking stupid.

Brian- could not agree more with your statement that We’ve normalized dysfunction in the U.S., and we make excuses for it instead of demanding better. Something for you to ponder 1- We opened our borders to millions of illegals - Japan would not do that. 2- Japan punishes crime- democrat run states support cashless bail and thwart ICE attempts to deport illegals. 3- We provide clean needle sites and Japan don’t The liberal policies are the issue. We need to change that and bring g common sense back.

I just returned from two weeks in Japan, and I have to be honest, it really opened my eyes to how far behind the U.S. is falling in so many basic ways. Some things that stood out: - In two weeks across some of Japan’s most densely populated cities, I saw only two visibly homeless people. - I saw one person who appeared to be struggling with addiction. - High-speed rail made affordable, clean, efficient transportation the norm, not a fantasy. - I never once felt unsafe letting my kids walk freely beside me in public. - Despite having far fewer public trash cans, Japan’s streets had a fraction of the litter. - The country’s reduced income inequality was visible everywhere, from housing to public services. I already know what some right-wing folks will say: “It’s because Japan has low immigration” or “It’s not run by Democrats.” But those are lazy excuses and distractions from the real issues. The truth? We’ve normalized dysfunction in the U.S., and we make excuses for it instead of demanding better.

I friend reminded me today that it best to not react to everything. Wise words in indeed. I wish you all take that to heart. If our comments don’t lift others up- is there a need?
