A Somali man from Melvindale, Mich., named Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said has been charged on May 14 for allegedly plotting an Islamic mass casualty event on a U.S. military base in Warren, Mich. on behalf of ISIS. Said was a former member of the Michigan Army National Guard. A large number of Somalis residing in the U.S. have been convicted over the years of Islamic terrorism, in addition to mass fraud that is now being uncovered. The community relies heavily on public assistance and exploits American ignorance of Somalian culture and language to conduct fraud in the open.

In a sermon in Brooklyn, NY, at the Muslim American Society Youth Center, director Mohammad Badawy declared: “As a Muslim, my life’s mission is to fight the U.S. government, the U.S. Army, and ICE until my last breath—that is my reason for existence.”
