Desktop MMO - Task Bar MMO Idle Game.

After a few builds of the game with 2d assets, we decoded to move the Engine to 3d. Currently we are using @SyntyStudios assets now. Looking Good. We have 1st Pass Resource collection, 1st Pass Crafting + Recipes, based on Users Skills. Now working on a better combat system.

We have decided to Update the game to be a side on 3d Game. Here is the first screen shot of playable for the 3d as a Desktop Game.

@MrMorrisGames I kind of like Taskbar Games better than as I call them, Desktop Games.

There’s a Steam event dedicated to “taskbar” games and it’s crazy to think that Rusty’s Retirement spawned all of these 🤯

More progress completed yesterday. Item Data, Resource data is now formularized. Inventory is nearly completed, and items are now being put into the inventory from Resource Collection. Next up NPC / Quests and Crafting. #desktopgaming #indiegame

Added a small resource Gathering in. You will target you selected type, once run out, you will then find another of the same type and go for it. @MrMorrisGames #desktopgame #indiedev

Just got 2d desktop working nicely. This is connected to a Zone online. Next adding combat, and resource collecting. Desktop MMO is coming. A Casual Idle MMO game.

We have just added @coherenceio to Desktop MMO. The zone structure is looking good. Will soon have multiple zones set up, so that you can move between areas on the map. When that is done, simple interaction with the environment will be added along with spawners for enemies.

Development has started on Desktop MMO. This will be a simple desktop game, like Rusty's Retirement. Where you can play while you are working on other things. Current plans are for a small Prototype to be available soon, with simple collection, combat, crafting in the game.
