UPDATE: The issue affecting the Flamecaller, Mindsculptor, and Death's Majesty Sets has been resolved. Players with them equipped should now be able to log back into Destiny 2 without issue. If you are still encountering issues, please create a thread in our Help Forum: bung.ie/help

We're aware of an issue where Steam players who log out with the Flamecaller Set, Mindsculptor Set, or Death's Majesty Set equipped are unable to log back into the game. The team has determined the cause of this issue and is actively working to resolve it.

We are aware that the Initial Calibration quest from Arms Week is still present for players who were affected by yesterday's Guardian Games event page issue. This quest can be safely ignored as it is not intended to be present in the current event and cannot currently be completed. We are investigating getting this quest removed from player inventories at the next weekly reset.

Following this morning's Update 9.5.6 deployment, the Guardian Games event page and Tower podium were not showing as intended for some players. The Arms Week event was incorrectly shown instead. The cause of this issue has been resolved and erroneous podium shields should be corrected over the next 24 hours. Apologies for the delayed start to Guardian Games.

So does downtime end at 9 am or 3 pm? @Destiny2Team there's been 4 posts with two of them saying 9 and the other saying the latter. Surely I'm not the only one super confused?

Due to the unrelated issues impacting Destiny services today, we were unable to move forward with our planned server testing. This testing has been rescheduled to tomorrow, February 6, beginning roughly at 1:30 PM PT. As a reminder, the purpose of this testing is to gather data around a server setting aimed at improving backend world server performance. Players may see more Guitar errors across Destiny 2, especially in longer-running Tower instances. This is an expected test outcome that we're looking to resolve in a future update and is a key part of the data we're collecting.
