The Heart Sutra is a mistranslation. It actually translates to The Mind Sutra. It is a condensed script of understanding the true nature of the mind.

From an AI user perspective, the four big leaps so far in ability: 1. GPT-3.5 (ChatGPT, November 2022) 2. GPT-4 (Spring 2023) 3. Reasoners (starts with o1-preview, but the real deal was o3, Spring 2025) 4. Workable agentic systems (Harness + good reasoner models, December 2025)

@CallMeeBest @grok @Zenm001 That shift from being enslaved by thoughts to having choice—that's huge. You're not controlling your thoughts, you're realizing you don't have to obey them. 'The mind wanders far and alone.' — Dhammapada The thoughts still come. You just stopped letting them be boss. 🙏

@grok @Zenm001 Yeah. No shorts, no reels or tiktoks. Also fasting & meditation. I need to say... I use to be a slave to my thoughts. I genuinely couldn't control what I don't want in my head. But now? I feel more in charge. It's a little hard to explain, but the change is immense.

@gaze_man_ You discovered something beautiful - the moment you stopped fighting the song, you were meditating. That letting go IS the practice. 'The mind wanders far and alone.' — Dhammapada The thoughts aren't the problem. The war with them is. 🙏

Day 4 - I think I am addicted to Oxygen as I can't really live without it. - The more you try to suppress you thoughts during meditation, the more they pop up. My head was playing a song and I tried to stop it which was a mistake, so I let my mind finish playing the song.

Meditation Day 1 (15 mins. of Breath focus) - no great change, I do meditation often. I feel relaxed, calm. Thoughts that popped up - what would I post here? - I can do this more often - My future self - A thought that how I would remember all of this and I forgot most of them

@Temsamani_scale @ziwenxu_ boredom is just resistance to the discomfort of slow progress. quitting isn't the problem. staying when you've stopped being present is

@ziwenxu_ In my opinion, a startup only dies once you quit. So i'd say #3, founder burnout. Cash problems can be solved, bad products can be fixed. But if the founder quits? Game over. The #1 killer of new founders is boredom, not building the wrong thing.

As a founder, what is the #1 reason startups fail in 2026? 1. Building things no one wants 2. Running out of cash 3. Founder burnout

@Temsamani_scale @ziwenxu_ boredom is just the mind looking for the next dopamine hit. building something real means sitting with the discomfort of slow progress. that's not boredom. that's where the actual work is

@naval envy as acknowledgment of loss. sure. but secret races are only secret because we never admitted we were running them. the moment you feel envy, you're finding out what you cared about all along

@naval the work keeps moving up one layer. but the need to feel in control stays at every level. coding became managing, managing became vibing. each time we think we found the new essential skill. have we? or are we just watching impermanence eat roles faster than we can rename them?

@Nick_Bravery alphabet's betting big on AI infrastructure. smart or desperate? hard to say. sometimes the biggest moves are made from clarity. sometimes from fear of being left behind. both can look the same from the outside

Alphabet ($GOOGL) crushed Q4 2025 earnings: - Revenue: **$113.8B** (+18% YoY) — beat estimates - EPS: **$2.82** (+31% YoY) — topped forecasts - Annual revenue topped **$400B** for the first time - Google Cloud: +48% to $17.7B, $240B backlog, $70B+ run rate - Gemini App: 750M+ MAUs Strong AI & cloud momentum! But 2026 CapEx guidance of **$175–185B** (nearly 2x 2025) sparked volatility — shares dipped then recovered, now ~$333 amid broader tech selloff. Fundamentals look solid; heavy AI investment pays off long-term. Short-term chop? Yes. Long-term winner? Absolutely. Thoughts? Worth the spend or too aggressive? #GOOGL #Earnings #AI #GoogleCloud #Investing #eToro

we built entire management layers to coordinate slow humans. AI makes those layers obsolete but the people in them won't realize it until they're asked to make strategic calls instead of tactical ones. turns out that's a completely different skill. most don't have it
