@hamad_bachi @Mish_K_ "Religions revere God, so every religion is actually Islam" is not convincing.
"Israel is not Abraham". So what?
English

@Det_Fenris @Mish_K_ Israel is not Abraham. Did not exist when Abraham was alive.
English

According to the DOD, this is still not a violation of the ceasefire.
Trey Yingst@TreyYingst
Emirati air defense is currently engaging incoming Iranian missiles and drones, according to the UAE Ministry of Defense.
English

@hamad_bachi @Mish_K_ Besides, linguistically speaking, "Israel" means "struggles with God". This is obviously very different from "Islam" which means "submission".
English

@hamad_bachi @Mish_K_ "Religions revere God, so every religion is actually Islam" is not convincing.
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Hey I’m done here…you’re not going anywhere
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz So I guess Egypt's popularity doesn't matter after all. Why should Israel? We at least get a return on the investment from them.
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz We pay Eqypt to maintain stability in Middle East…if Eqypt started attacking Israel we’d use the aid as leverage to get them to stop…if they didn’t stop we’d end the aid
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz Then why is nobody polling their popularity?
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Other countries certainly have to worry about their public support in the Us if they want aid…
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz From what I can tell, Ukraine is still getting billions in aid every year.
You still haven't explained why other countries don't have to worry about their popularity with American pollsters.
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Aid for Ukraine was very popular…then lost support from Republicans and now it’s gone
Aid for Eqypt only happens because of aid for Israel
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz What about Ukraine, Jordan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Somalia, Nigeria, Afghanistan? I have never once heard anyone talk about their "popularity" with voters.
Why are you singling out Israel?
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Well their popularity would have a direct relationship to those Congressional Reps that vote for it…aid to North Korea would be tough
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz Lots of countries receive foreign aid from the US. Is their popularity in polls a factor?
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Yes…public support from the US allows them to receive free weapons
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz America depends on Israel also. Israel develops new technology and shares it with us. Israel tests our weapons system in combat and shares the date with us. The Mossad shares vast amounts of vital intelligence with us.
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz But those countries don’t depend on US support like Israel does…
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz Again, you have not explained why Israel should be concerned with "public support". Does "public support" make Israel safer in any way? Does it make terrorists go away? Does it make remove Iran's and Hamas and Hizbullah's genocidal intentions?
What does "public support" do?
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz If they want their public support to go up …yes
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz What does that have to do with anything? Should Russia or China or North Korea or Iran elect leaders based on how popular they are in the US? I mean those countries don't really hold elections, but if they did...
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz I’m not applying any rules…I’m stating that Israel’s public support in the US has dropped and they could take measures to reverse this…or not
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz Because the same standards need to be applied across the board. You can't single out one country and apply rules the them that don't apply to anyone else anywhere on the world.
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz This is a great example of what is called "magical thinking".
Besides, Bibi went to MIT. I'd say he's pretty smart.
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz Why aren't you calling for every country in the world should elect leaders that you personally approve of? Why single out Israel?
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz As long as you know why support has dropped …if you’re comfortable with where it sits then don’t change a thing
English

@liberalpuppy @jpodhoretz You haven't said yet what "tactics" you expect. "Change" does not necessarily fix anything.
English

@Det_Fenris @jpodhoretz Well it’s not just electing a new pm…it’s changing tactics…can’t just rely on republican support
