@doeeyedsammmy From what she said, the decision was made by AI which is insane. She said she tried to appeal but her impression was that AI handled the appeal too and so it just reached the same decision. I don't know her, so I don't have many details beyond a brief conversation.

@DetailTilted I appreciate this explanation! It's still a shame that they can just remove her account like that though considering most of her videos featured totally unique content. Has she talked about fighting the claims to get her channel back?

OMG!!!! I just realized that YouTube removed gayled_it's channel!??? All of the j2 panels are gone!!!

@doeeyedsammmy @Asundseth Emily Kitchen has a really great playlist, but unfortunately that was affected by the loss of Gayle's channel. Since her playlist links to other people's videos, if those videos are removed then they also disappear from the playlist. She added a note to her playlist desc.

@doeeyedsammmy So they have some new algorithm flagging things it thinks violate CG. There’s no telling what YT might have picked up and misunderstood. Consider how often YT misunderstands words in con vids and generates ridiculous captions. Could it have been that? I have no idea. [3/3]

@doeeyedsammmy cut out the music parts when they don’t need to, and think they’re good. It’s way more confusing than that. Here’s what CG is: support.google.com/youtube/answer… A month ago I noticed YT added an automatic CG check (IN ADDITION to copyright) that runs when you upload a vid. [2/?]

@meltedconfetti Now that I've watched it, I just wanted to say I think you did a great job with filming it! And I honestly never even noticed the wooing. I've watched so many con videos by now that I think I'm immune to them. 🤣
