@hammertimee @Junni @rodamn Also. Not all coatings are sio2 based. Not all protection needs to be sio2 based to be water&dirt repellent. On our ppf, it is impossible to put a layer of coating in the first months. On other brands, it can be. But not with this one.

Cool. From what many major ceramic Coating manufacturers have informed me, true ceramic coating can be layered after curing. G-technic, Gyeon, Xpel, opti-coat. Xpel states that additional layer or ceramic coating can be applied other ceramic coated film. I wonder if stek is a true SiO2 base that are typically compatible with layering. 🤔

@Junni @hammertimee @rodamn Extra coating is impossible on this stek. It wont stick on the ppf and it will be wiped of directly. Only good thing about this, is to earn more money for me. No effect on the ppf now

@hammertimee @rodamn @DetaileDbe Yes indeed. Stek already has those hydrophobic properties to repel water. Extra coating layer is possible but not required to get that feature

@Junni @DetaileDbe ok I asked about the standard time interval, holidays I understand that there must be an extension period. In our company we apply PPF for a maximum of 4 days and some customers claim that in the USA smaller companies can do it in a shorter time. that's why I asked.
