We support (a non exhaustive list). - trans people who regret their transition / aspect of their transition. - detrans people who experience regret - trans / detrans people who feel their gender identity has changed.

@DetransAdv @Simon_Whitten "We" Charlie? I do have good intent. I am increasingly worried that you do have actual clients and your amateur approach to this will end up hurting already vulnerable people. I have yet to see a relevant qualification for one person who works in your "org."

The founder of the Detransition Advocacy Network went on Sky News last year claiming she had 100s of detransitioners to help. Yesterday she said that she count emails she knows are spam or fake as part of her official figures of detransitioners. This is deeply unprofessional.

@DetransAdv @AidanCTweets @Simon_Whitten By the way, saying that you 'can't confirm with due diligence' is admission that the process by which you acquire your testimonies cannot be considered to have been vetted, with sources checked.

@SCaemawr @AidanCTweets @Simon_Whitten No, we don't pay people to write us emails. They aren't 'testimonies'. They asked for 2K for reversal surgery (which is not something we do). This was immediately after an account here said they were going to fake being detrans so we would send money.

@DetransAdv @AidanCTweets @Simon_Whitten Someone sent you a lengthy testimony and asked you for £2000 in return. To answer your question, I would ask what your policy says. Is it standard protocol for you to pay for testimonies and also for people to name their own fee?

We suspect we received four fake emails yesterday. We can't be sure, but they arrived within minutes of each other, with different names, and similar errors / style of writing. We respond to every query as if it was genuine, but please remember if your intent is to spam us .. 1/

@AidanCTweets @Simon_Whitten While some we can identify as definitely false (these 4 from yesterday), the ones who are writing realistic accounts (which we have seen people boast about) in an attempt to time waste, we can't distinguish from real accounts. So *they* are falsely inflating our statistics.

@AidanCTweets @Simon_Whitten If we do that, call us out for it. Otherwise, this was just a plea asking for people not to do it because it messes up everything for everyone. If we didn't care about falsifying stats we wouldn't have tweeted it in the first place. Accuracy matters to us.

@DetransAdv @Simon_Whitten So, you can report "We got 250 emails from detransitioners this year" but buried in the data will be little asterisks that say "This tweet that says "f off etc." may be fake, but, of course, the headline number will be 250, which will knowingly be false.

We posted this because we don't want our statistics falsely inflated - we don't think it helps trans or detrans people.

It doesn't offer anyone anything to falsify detrans statistics. Which is why we posted this. We can weed out obviously fake emails, and we mark any that we feel were suspect (though respond to all queries seriously).

This comment appears to be misunderstood by some people. If you are falsifying accounts of detransition, and we are unable to ascertain they are fake, you are falsely inflating our statistics. This is not intentional. It is a result of trying to waste our time.

@AidanCTweets @Truthbomb_Queen @Simon_Whitten Realise, and therefore they end up in our statistics. This was a plee to STOP the people doing this, because it inflates our statistics.

@AidanCTweets @Truthbomb_Queen @Simon_Whitten You are still misunderstanding. These emails say they are detrans people, and provide personal information. Some are not believable, we can weed these out easily. Some, we have no doubt, we end up wasting time on for hours. These serve nobody a purpose, because we do not .. 1/
