I've been smuggled through the desert by the Sinaloa Cartel. I've waded across the Rio Grande with an ex-con from Nicaragua named Elvis. I know a few things about the border. So why is it so historically f-ed up? Here's why. On Biden's first day in office, he suspended: 1) nearly all deportations. 2) Remain in Mexico policy for people asking for an asylum hearing. Then Biden: 3) rescinded expedited removals for illegal entrants under Title 8. 4) and bestowed "parole" to nearly all migrants who enter the United States illegally. The world heard.  And they've come. From Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, even Kazakhstan. 150 countries. They send selfies back home. "See how easy it is?" More follow. Who wouldn't? But to characterize the prior enforcement of policies/laws of deterrence as racist is...dubious. After all, Obama deported more than three million people under these laws, the most of any president in history. Today, a super majority of Americans are against the tidal wave of humanity who've poured into the country as Biden had skippered the ship into the rocks. We can't afford the millions upon millions of destitute people all at once, for starters (hello New York!).  Now --once again -- we have migrant children held in cages, and adults shivering in tents on the streets of Denver.  ICE even released a man who was classified as high risk on the terror watchlist to come live in Dearborn, Michigan. I brought him a house plant. To add to this, more than 100,000 children sex and work trafficked inside the U.S. with the help of the federal government itself. No one knows where they are. And yet, no tears from AOC. It's Election Year. The Biden Crew -- fading in the polls -- blame Republicans, claiming the GOP forced budget budget to Border Patrol.  But this is an untruth.  There are not 2,000 fewer BP agents as the prevaricating Karine Jean-Pierre would have you believe. In fact, the BP budget has increased every year under the Biden/Mayorkas term. Biden has the power to fix the border crisis-- tomorrow -- if he wishes...(see Title 8.) But he does not wish it. If we as a nation desire or see the need for greater immigration to America, then why not a lottery system where people apply in their own country? It's safer, more orderly, and it rips the profits from organized crime. The Mexican cartels are raking in ~$250 million a week on human trafficking alone. What's happening at the border is an historic, human debacle. Maybe the Democrats should've allowed @RobertKennedyJr a legitimate shot at the nomination instead of rigging the primaries against him. At least Jr. knows where the border is. At least junior knows Lady Liberty is not holding a gas light.
