TOP 4 BANGGGGGGGGGGG (+4043)✅✅✅✅ SHOW SOME LOVE IF YOU CASHED!❤️

🤓 Jesús Luzardo over 6.5 strikeouts #Ringthebell More straights?! Smash that ❤️ or RT! Colorado is ummm….bad! They rank near the bottom of the league in almost every metrics, sitting 28th in strikeout rate, 28th in whiff rate, and 29th in walk rate. This is an offense that not only swings and misses, but also doesn’t do a great job of grinding out at-bats or forcing pitchers into trouble so he should be able to get deeper into the game. The projected lineup is loaded with strikeout paths too. Goodman is at 36.7% K with a 36.2% whiff rate, Karros is at 33.3% K, Castro is at 31.0% K, Doyle is at 30.8% K, Ritter is at 42.9% K, Fulford is at 40.0% K with a 50.0% whiff rate, and Julien is sitting at 50.0% K. Even Tovar, who is one of the better bats in the lineup, still comes with a 26.7% strikeout rate and a 50.0% chase rate, so there are not many easy outs from a contact standpoint. The chase profile makes me like this even more. Tovar and Ritter are both at 50.0% chase, Beck is at 45.8%, Castro is at 43.2%, and Doyle is at 41.3%. Against a pitcher like Luzardo, that is a huge deal. When he’s locating the fastball and getting hitters into protect mode, his secondary stuff can take over, and this is the kind of lineup that can start expanding quickly once he gets ahead in counts. What gives me even more confidence is that he’s already shown he can dominate vs COL and IN COL. In his last two starts against Colorado, he racked up 13 strikeouts and 10 strikeouts, and one of those outings came in Colorado. So for me, the altitude angle does not really move the needle.
