The way House of the Dragon fans celebrate Ser Criston Cole getting shot full of arrows as if he is the absolute ultimate villain in Westeros history is genuinely hilarious to watch. Meanwhile, Daemon Targaryen bashed his own wife's head in with a heavy rock, ordered Blood & Cheese to murder a toddler in cold blood, choked Rhaenyra by the neck on Dragonstone, and spent two entire seasons tripping on weird visions in a wet castle. Yet despite all of that, y’all turn around and worship him like he is some kind of noble hero. It’s pure, unfiltered double standards. You don’t actually care about morality, character ethics, or holding bad people accountable. You just selectively forgive horrific, unforgivable war crimes because you happen to like the guy with the cool dragon and dark armor. If you like Daemon purely for his chaotic visual aura, then just own it and say that. But watching Team Black stans virtue signal about how bitter and toxic Ser Criston is, while simultaneously turning a completely blind eye to every single atrocious thing Daemon has done since Season 1, is top-tier brainrot. Ser Criston was undoubtedly a bitter, resentful mess, but at least his fans can openly acknowledge his obvious flaws. Daemon stans, on the other hand, perform insane mental gymnastics daily to justify a wife-killing, toddler-slaying abuser who spent half the war hiding from accountability. At the end of the day, you don't actually hate Ser Criston for his actions. You just hate that he stood against your favorite Targaryen prince. Stop pretending you hold the moral high ground and just admit you forgive anything as long as the character holds Dark Sister
