A major source of checkout friction is forcing guest users to create an account. Let them buy first, then invite them to save their details on the thank-you page. Lowering the barrier to purchase is key.

Discount codes are a lazy way to drive sales. They train customers to never buy at full price. Offering store credit or loyalty points is much better because it encourages repeat purchases.

@DevDiggers Absolutely! Speed is part of the customer experience, and even the best design cannot convert visitors who leave before the page loads.

Stop redesigning your WooCommerce shop page when it takes 4 seconds to load. A pretty design will not save a store if visitors bounce before the images even load. Optimize your TTFB and database queries first.

E-commerce developers: how do you handle heavy database queries on large WooCommerce stores? Do you use custom tables, offload search to Elasticsearch, or rely entirely on Redis object caching?

How to handle sold-out products without losing your SEO rankings: - Keep the product page live. - Do not redirect to the homepage. - Disable the add-to-cart button. - Add an automated back-in-stock email form. Turn missed traffic into future revenue.

Three things to clean in your WooCommerce database today: 1. Expired transients. 2. Old cart session data. 3. Unused post revisions. Keeping the database light keeps the response time fast.

@whtsuppbro @FluentCartWP Yes we have a MultiPOS extension for the WooCommerce which is our top selling extension. Let us know if you get any requests for the POS functionality inside FluentCart so we can build the same.

@DevDiggers @FluentCartWP Glad you noticed. Performance is something we take seriously with FluentCart. A MultiPOS extension isn't something we plan to offer from our end. Although, I personally think a MultiPOS extension would be great, even from a third-party!

Many WooCommerce scaling issues are just database neglect. If you have millions of rows in wp_postmeta and have never cleaned up expired transients, do not blame the software when checkout slows down.

Hit 100 active users on Tabisto today. 103, actually. 5.0 rating across 15 reviews so far. First 100 users always feel different from the rest. What's the first milestone that felt real to you when you were building something?

Why standard e-commerce features fail B2B buyers: Wholesale clients don't shop like retail consumers. If you run a wholesale division on WooCommerce, you must adjust these 4 areas:

Most WooCommerce scaling issues aren't because of product count. You can run a store with 50,000+ products easily if you optimize correctly. Here is the scaling framework we use:
