1. Delhi Police has taken Sonam Wangchuk to hospital in compliance with Delhi HC order. 2. Had Mr. Wangchuk died during his hunger strike, it could have amounted to contempt of court by Delhi Police/Govt. 3. NEET paper leak & consequent deaths of 20 students are unforgivable. Accountability must be fixed, stringent action must be taken, and it must not repeat. 4. Delhi Police has not removed other protestors so far. Allowing peaceful protest is a hallmark of a healthy democracy and must not be suppressed by governments.

Sonam Wangchuk has been removed from the protest site, and I think it is a good thing. This protest has been irrationally designed, has no clear goal, and the demands are not rational. NEET paper leak was an issue, but the successful conduction of re-NEET is actually a true accountability by the government. His condition has worsened, and this stubbornness could have led to his death also. Delhi Police has taken a right decision. The protest was slowly turning into a kind of blackmail. Do you also subscribe to this view, or are you falling for the ongoing narrative?

सवाल उठाया जा रहा कि सरकार ने संवाद की जगह सीधे सोनम वांगचुक को फ़ोर्स फ़ीडिंग के लिए उठा क्यों लिया ? सूत्रों का कहना है कि सरकार ने लद्दाख आंदोलन के समय से ही सोनम से संवाद के द्वार खोल रखे थे। इस बार भी बातचीत करना चाहती थी, लेकिन इंटेलिजेंस इनपुट थे कि सोनम को कुछ लोगों ने हाईजैक कर रखा है। उनका मुद्दा भी लद्दाख से भटककर एक मंत्री के इस्तीफ़े पर केंद्रित हो चुका है। इनपुट थे कि उनके इर्द -गिर्द जो लोग हैं, वे बातचीत की हर कोशिश को डिरेल करेंगे। सरकारी प्रतिनिधि, मंच पर जाकर परीक्षा व्यवस्था में सुधार के लिए हर आश्वासन देना चाह रहे थे, लेकिन काकरोच गण की लड़ाई व्यवस्था नहीं व्यक्ति विशेष के खिलाफ केंद्रित हो गई थी। शिक्षा मंत्री के इस्तीफ़े तक अनशन से सोनम को उठने नहीं देते। अब अनशन से इस्तीफ़ा होने लगेंगे तो देश में एक नई परिपाटी शुरू होगी। इस तरह से अनवरत सिलसिला चल निकलेगा। इसलिए सरकार ने मजबूरी में संवाद की जगह सोनम को अस्पताल भजने का निर्णय लिया।
