Students at St. Maurice School participated in THINKfast 2026, a meaningful experience that invites youth to reflect on social issues affecting communities in the Global South. They fasted for a full day in solidarity with young people around the world who face difficult living.

Disconnecting to reconnect… and step into leadership 💛 For three days in Port Colborne, 37 young people stepped away from their daily routines to take part in Development and Peace – Caritas Canada’s Youth Leader Program retreat.

On March 14, the community came together in Deux-Montagnes for a Hunger Lunch organized by DPCC’s St-Eustache regional team. A total of 91 people showed up and they helped raise $1,340 to support our projects around the world.

What does hope look like? Sometimes, it looks like glue, paint… and a room full of people coming together 💛 From paint to papier mâché, these handmade piggy banks are more than art, they’re powerful symbols of the urgent need to turn debt into hope.

This Earth Day, our Montreal team took action locally 🌎 They rolled up their sleeves for a little spring cleaning because caring for our planet starts right where we are. And every small act adds up 💚 #EarthDayEveryDay

Reading, writing, speaking out, and participating more actively in community life—these skills open up new possibilities for these women, their families, and their communities.

Women who learn, empower themselves, and transform their communities. From June 2025 to March 2026, nearly 3,500 women from several regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo completed a training program focused on critical literacy, as part of the EEGIR program.

The Jubilee doors are closed, but the spirit of the Jubilee Year continues. Canadians have gathered over 67,000 signatures calling for debt justice, and we want to make sure the Canadian government can’t ignore them.
