I have never been good at choosing just one thing. I like building. I like explaining. I like figuring things out until they work. That is probably why I kept coming back to code. Why I kept showing up for community. And why I started taking content more seriously a few months ago. For the last couple of months, I have been learning coding. For longer than that, I have been telling stories. And through @Mew3India, I have been trying to create something meaningful from where I come from, Jabalpur. That is also why @DevrelUni Cohort 7 feels important to me. DevRel is where the things I enjoy start to make sense together. Storytelling. Problem solving. Community. Clear communication. I do not want to just learn DevRel. I want to learn how to do it well, with structure, with intent, and with people in mind.

DevRel is a bigger role than "person who writes docs and runs office hours." It's accountability for the developer experience of a whole protocol. I've been doing the work at Kleros but haven't found the right place to actually learn the craft. Applying to @DevrelUni Cohort 7 The reason I want the cohort: I've been shipping, but mostly by figuring it out as I go. DevRel Uni is the only program I've seen that treats the role with the seriousness it actually needs.

What is devrel in a world where the 'devs' are increasingly not human? Where repos are optimized with AGENTS.md files, blogs centred on inbound marketing are trying to game GEO with llm traffic. Where docs and educational content are optimized around claude plugins, MCP servers and llms.txt files so that agents can discover, understand and use technology better. There is less emphasis on explaining a specific code snippet and more emphasis on making building feel like magic, where words are spells that manifest in truly powerful ways. On the technical side I feel in the next year there is a lot of work teaching people about harnesses and the anatomy of skills and tradeoffs/optimizations around llm context. But there is also much more need for the 'rel' part, helping builders navigate distribution in a digital landscape of every increasing noise. Nowadays everyone can write, but not everyone can make a living off of it. It will get harder to attract attention for what you build and make a living off of it for many. At the same time there is incredible opportunities, with barriers to development crashing, new people, perspectives and experiences are flooding in tackling issues in ways not possible before. I think the heart that powers devrel is empathy, and I think that's what remains constant. You're still working towards making the lives of those pushing things that solve pains or provide value easier. You're facilitating them and their work. Exploring these themes excite me the most about the upcoming @DevrelUni cohort run by @buzea200. Where you can learn from top leaders in the space and how they are navigating our evolving landscapes and shaping new standards.

Always been the odd duck: 17 years in software, now in HR with a tech-first mindset, trying to make community support and dev first part of the organization’s DNA. That’s why applying to @DevRelUni Cohort 7 feels like the right next step. @buzea200

I entered my last hackathon solo, faced technical hurdles I wasn't sure I could solve, and came out with a functional product and an upcoming NPM package. I'm applying for @DevrelUni Cohort 7 to turn that solo experience into a way to help other developers build in the age of AI

I've spent 4+ years in crypto turning the most brain-melting tech into something people actually want to read about. AMM algorithms, onchain mechanics, liquidity routing. My job was always the same: find the human story hiding inside the complexity and tell it clearly. That's product marketing. But somewhere along the way I realised that's also can be… DevRel. The more I worked on positioning, messaging, and developer-facing content, the more I saw the overlap. To me DevRel isn't a detour from what I do, but a product marketing with a deeper technical approach, where you don't just talk about what developers can build, you help them actually build it. @DevrelUni feels like exactly the structured path to get there, and the scholarship would make that path real 🫡

I switched from biochemistry to tech because I realized my passion was building solutions & connecting people around them. Started as a community moderator, now a software engineer in progress. @DevrelUni Cohort 7 is the next step, I want to help others navigate tech the way this community helped me.
