For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-Weigh…

Some 10–15 years ago, it was still difficult, but a good number of international students secured jobs via graduate schemes with companies such as British Gas, British Telecom, Network Rail, Arup, Atkins etc. More recently, however, it has become common knowledge that most postgraduate degrees offer little chance of working in one's field. Instead, graduates often end up in support or care roles. If you still decide to go to the UK, you are opting for survival mode rather than career building.

You work at work, and then you come back home, and you continue to do house chores. From time to time, let it go into chaos. Everybody should go to the fridge and find themselves something to eat. Teach everybody resourcefulness. Leave the laundry, let it pile. On a Saturday, stretch your legs, lie in, and let breakfast come to you. Nothing will happen.

it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself

I listen to stuff like this and wonder how I remain sane 😂 I don’t have a therapist. I don’t have a mentor. I definitely don’t and won’t share my problems with a woman I’m intimate with. (Never ends well). I have very few friends and I don’t share every challenge with them. Lol I just allow the depression sit for a day or two and I figure out the solution to the problem. Don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing. 🤷🏾

“I’m a man, we’re built to chest things. If you punch a man, he has the ability to absorb it. whenever I’m going through things, my wife is not the first person I call, i’ll rather call my therapist or mentor, but when things get really hard, that’s when I turn to my wife” Deyemi

every woman dating a struggling man carries a silent deadline in her mind for when she expects his story to change. she’ll never say it while you’re building but once that timeline expires and there’s still no significant breakthrough, that patient and understanding girlfriend begins to voice out her frustrations or starts checking out emotionally.

Men are known for protecting women and their homes at all time. Women on the other side are t built like that. Take a look at the podcast Mr Eazi and Temi’s had, the husband was asked who his celebrity crush is, he mentioned his wife (protective instinct), the wife then mentioned Michael B. Jordan, and still spoke about not being a looks person, indirectly saying her man is not handsome, and Michael B. Jordan isn’t her crush because of looks, but talent which sounded so defensive without Mr Eazi even attacking. That means she likes him because of his looks before his talent. And the video still went online after putting the man in an uncomfortable position, women don’t care like that. Zero protective instinct. Look at Adekunle Gold and Simi too, even if you have a celebrity crush, that nonsense should end before you get married, she still worships JCole til date, her husband had to meet him and even called her to talk to him and she lost her cool on the call. Imagine a married man moving like that towards Tiwa Savage around his wife or even Nicki Minaj. Really weird. A lot of times when you see a couple come together to seminars to talk, ask them questions that will expose one and another, the man will always try to protect his wife, women just talk. The solution; if you ever find yourself in such situation where you and your wife are asked personal questions, tell her to go first, her response will determine what you should say.
