Seeing players return to a game that means so much to us has been incredibly rewarding—we always believed it deserved more. This update is for you! 💚

🚨 BIG CITY TYCOON'S MASSIVE OVERHAUL IS HERE 🚨 Play 👉 roblox.com/games/64324077… This is PART 1 of our overhaul, with PART 2 coming soon which will include new UI, more features, and maybe even UPDATES?! 😱 BCT needed A LOT of love so we've implemented our newest tycoon system so it can run faster than ever before! Not only will the game run better, it also looks better! Changelog: - Much faster loading times - Fixed data loss issues - Fixed vehicles wheels constantly breaking, leaving you unable to drive cars - Fixed existing bugs with progression menu - Improved overall flow of gameplay through ordering of buttons, separating objects into new buttons, adjusting pricing, etc. - Revamped Starter Home with new layout, increased level of detail in furniture and misc. objects, added textures, etc - Revamped Pizza Shop with much more detail, better color design, lighting, etc. - Revamped Studio Apartment by increasing overall size, adding 2 new windows in the bedroom, adding much more detail, new furniture, textures, lighting, etc. - Revamped Suburban Home with a completely new layout, new furniture, much more details, etc. - Lightly revamped Mechanic Shop by adding more detailed interior items like pipes, paint buckets, etc. - Revamped Luxury Apartment by making each apartment take an entire floor instead of half! Greatly improved interior detail with updated furniture and more objects. - Lightly revamped Mansion by adding textures, improving color and lighting, replacing all plants, improving artwork, and swapping other objects with more detailed replacements - Lightly revamped Jewelry shop by improving color, interior and exterior plants/trees, and adding new meshes - Lightly revamped High-rise Apartment by replacing objects with more detailed replacements, improving particles and lighting, adding textures, etc. - Revamped lobbies of all apartment buildings. Added new textures, plants, furniture, changed colors, etc. - Improved look of environment by adding new trees + greatly increasing amount and variety - Added parking lines to parking garage (why did it not have them already???) - Improved breakable objects by having them not collide with you after you break them, allowing you to smash through them with ease - Improved particles across the map - Improved lighting across the map - Added sound effects across map for things like fire, water, etc. - Added textures to certain buildings to improve overall look - Fixed LOTS of z fighting across the map (parts flickering inside of each other) - Improved collisions in multiple areas across the map - UI improvements (complete overhaul of UI coming in PART 2) - Increased server size from 8 to 12 If you've previously completed the game, you will have some new buttons to purchase due to how massive of a change this is. Thanks to our complete system overhaul, TRT is running better than ever before, which means we can add more to the game! 🛠️ CHANGES 🛠️ The Water Park has also undergone many changes and introduces things that were not there in the OG version! 💦 Remade park entrance 🏴‍☠️ Added pirate themed restaurant 🌴 Improved meshes, particles, and other visuals 🔉 Added fountain + fire sound effects 👨 Added lifeguards + other NPCs 🚤 The Wave Rider has been moved back to Water Park 🔨 Water Park will need to be rebuilt if you have previously had it due to structural changes 🔒 Unlocked after Zoo We hope you enjoy the return of the beloved Water Park! 🌴 The Tropical Resort Tycoon overhaul is OUT NOW! 🌴 👉 roblox.com/games/55341744… Here is a full list of everything has been improved: - much faster loading times - better overall performance - fixed data loss issues - fixed invisible tycoon bug that occurred on join - boat, helicopter, and airplane controls using improved system - console and mobile control improvements - stabilized tube on tube boat so it doesn't flip - currency packs now scale with net worth, making them much more worth it at later stages in the game - fixed z-fighting in many places across the map - fixed misc meshes with missing faces - add sounds effects around the map, such as: fires, waterfalls, fountains, etc (can be turned off with environment setting in settings menu) - improved particle effects while keeping original integrity - improved lighting - improved collisions in multiple places - removed AI imagery on game page (yuck) - improved help button - using new system for more accurate locating and fixed any issues it had in Time Travel Tycoon We've dedicated SO much time to ensure all systems are as they previously were despite being reworked from scratch. Your playthrough should feel exactly the same, all while enjoying better loading times and overall better performance.
