@AI__Angelo@ohmyhumanity I agree with this. AI mind maps work best when they support your thinking, not replace it. That’s where tools like @MindMapAI_App can be useful.
@ohmyhumanity AI mind maps are great for clarity, but not always for thinking.
A mind map isn’t just a diagram
It’s a record of how your mind arrived at something.
AI-generated Mind Maps look very clean and clear
but I think the real value of a Mind Map is to trace your own thinking process
Like drawing the path you’ve personally walked on a map
If I’m using it to explain something or for teaching materials, I might use an AI-made Mind Map
But when it’s for my own thinking, I prefer to walk through the entire thought process myself
(P.S. When will we finally get an AI + multi-dimensional Mind Map tool? Something like a 3D, real-time editable Mind Map...plz)
I then read one section at a time, updating my mind map with notes.
2) Actively recall the mind map 2-3 times (i.e. from memory) over a couple of weeks. I use Anki (a spaced repetition flashcard program) to schedule these reviews.
I’ve been studying introductory evolution on my own over the last couple of months.
It’s a fascinating subject, and it’s really fun to see how its ideas can be applied in history and international relations.
@hhaanniiaaaa This is exactly why visual organization matters 😭 Overthinking disappears once everything is mapped out clearly. @MindMapAI_App helps a lot with structuring messy ideas faster.
@AitKanphong Love seeing handwritten mind maps like this 👏 Visual thinking really helps connect ideas faster. Tools like @MindMapAI_App make it even easier to organize and expand thoughts digitally.
