@eldritchchaos @AyodeleMurewa This was the moment in the run where I clocked out. Eternity possessed Storm specifically to do battle with Oblivion then out of the blue in comes Haddad doing the hit. So what was the point? Why the long setup and exposition only to completely throw that plot out the window?

This is not against OP but Campbell is the only name on the cover because the industry doesn't recognize letterers. Ariana Maher is amazing at their job & has been the letterer on Zatanna 2025/2026. Zatanna arguably is a character that necessitates good lettering. Props to Maher

SLEEPING BEAUTY (1959) was one of Disney’s most ambitious productions. Its hand-painted backgrounds and meticulous animation took nearly a decade to complete, resulting in one of the most visually stunning animated films ever made.

In Greek and Roman myth, 'Fate' was personified as three women spinning threads of human destiny. Clotho spun the thread of human fate; Lachesis dispensed it; Atropos cut the thread, determining the moment of death.

Wait why is that the wrong take? Unless writers really don’t know the sales of their books. Like are we saying he was completely blindsided? He knew the sales of his books, he knew it was solicited as only 5 issues even if he was told something it was never updated on the solits. So why wouldn’t it be the responsibility of the writer to tell a story that fits in 5 issues instead of jamming in everything. Like do these editors and writers not talk to each other? Are these writers really not in the know? Wouldn’t they check in and get confirmation? But on the other hand Marvel needs to be more fucking transparent. They need to stop fucking around. They need to be crystal fucking clear about how many issues the writer is getting and why? And the fucking editors need to do their damn job and edit a book so it’s not bloated and all over the place. Do these writers really not have weekly communication with the editors? And if they do why are the editors telling them last minute that the title is ending. It’s a fuck up for Marvel but I just don’t understand how the writer wouldn’t know and adjust.

Murewa: The storm series was an ongoing series then Marvel cut it back to a miniseries so I had to rush the ending. Comic twitter: That's your fault for writing your ongoing series like an ongoing series!

@comicsexplained It absolutely is. While Brevoort is a shit editor, Murewa is the writer. He should have reworked his story for 5 issues instead of banking on continued sales support from the Storm-stans which was already down the toilet thanks to the crap that was Age of Revelation.

@PhoenixJean616 So after finding out from the initial official solicit that it was only 5 issues he still didn't bother to re-edit and reformat the story? While it's great to drum up support Murewa should have known better and planned accordingly.

“We are not the descendants of slaves, we are the descendants of human beings.” French lawmakers just voted to abolish a colonial-era slavery law 341 years after it was passed. The law was created by the French monarchy to regulate slavery in the 17th and 18th centuries.
