🛡️ Ukrainian soldiers, observing Russian "creativity," reflect that Russians do not know what freedom is; they have no idea what to do with it, and in their understanding, "freedom" is synonymous with rape and looting. In the Ukrainian tradition, freedom is a constructive force—the right to build one's own home, choose leaders, and take responsibility. For the Russian occupier, as seen in Bucha, Irpin, and Mariupol, freedom is often perceived as "vsedozvolennost" (the license to do anything)—the absence of punishment for the most heinous crimes. Soldiers often note that a person who is oppressed at home by a dictator doesn't seek liberation for others; instead, when given a weapon, they vent their frustration through violence against the vulnerable. But are the Russians to blame if they have never experienced freedom in their lives?

🏅 Putin awards orders to Russian Paralympians, celebrating the "return of the Russian flag and anthem to the international sports arena." Due to their support for terrorism, I will never attend the Olympic Games and will never cooperate with them.

@SchrammDylan It depends on your perspective. From the perspective of eliminating an ally—no. From the perspective of lifting sanctions and easing arms restrictions on Ukraine—yes. But in my view, this is more beneficial for Ukraine, even though politicians say otherwise.

Putin has been emboldened by impunity. The current war in Ukraine is a consequence of the West’s failure to respond to Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014. Russia has violated all agreements signed with Ukraine.

🇺🇦 The Ukrainian language is 1,500 years old. The first written mention of the Ukrainian language dates back to 448 AD. Ukrainian is one of the most melodic and richest languages in the world (many words have dozens of synonyms). Russia has attempted to destroy it more times than perhaps any other language in history. The First Mention (448 AD): Byzantine historian Priscus of Panium, while visiting the court of Attila (on the territory of modern-day Ukraine), recorded the words "strava" (food/feast) and "medos" (mead). These are recognized as the earliest written traces of Slavic words specific to the Ukrainian lexicon. Melodiousness: In various linguistic beauty contests (like the one in Paris in 1934), Ukrainian has consistently been ranked alongside Italian and French as one of the most musical and euphonic languages in the world. A History of Bans: Ukrainian culture has survived over 134 official bans and acts of repression by the Russian Empire and the USSR, including the infamous Valuev Circular (1863) and the Ems Ukase (1876), which aimed to erase the language from public life entirely. Linguistic Wealth: A prime example is the word "horizon", for which Ukrainian has 12 synonyms (обрій, небокрай, кругозір, видноколо, виднокрай etc.), or the word "to beat", which has over 45 synonyms depending on the context.

🎥 Old recordings from Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). Only the Ukrainian language is heard; the Russian language had not yet appeared here. The Reality of the Donbas: Records from the early 20th century (and earlier ethnographic maps) show that Kramatorsk, Mariupol, and Bakhmut were predominantly Ukrainian-speaking. The Russian language was later forcibly imposed through the Holodomor, mass deportations of Ukrainians, and the organized resettlement of ethnic Russians into the industrial centers. Linguistic Roots: Kramatorsk was founded in the 1860s near the village of Petrivka, where Ukrainian traditions and language were the norm. Even during the industrial boom, the local population remained Ukrainian until the systematic repressions of the 1930s. Archival Evidence: Old newsreels and family recordings from the 1920s often capture the natural, melodious Ukrainian speech of the local workers and farmers, long before the "Soviet man" identity was manufactured.

⚔️ Did you know that the image of Cossacks in giant red or blue baggy pants (sharovary) and loose shirts was invented by Russia? Here is how Cossacks actually looked: 👖 Instead of satin "sharovary" — narrow trousers Cossacks wore pants designed for practical horseback riding called "nohavytsi" or "kaloshi." They were relatively narrow and sewn from coarse wool or leather. The massive Turkish-style baggy pants appeared much later and were more of a rarity or a trophy rather than everyday wear. 🧥 Zhupans and Svytas A Cossack’s primary clothing consisted of a zhupan (outerwear made of high-quality fabric) or a svyta. Zhupans were fastened with numerous buttons and had a fitted cut, which was practical for combat. Colors were natural: gray, brown, dark blue, or dark red. Bright, "clown-like" colors are a theatrical fiction. 👕 The Shirt Shirts were made of coarse linen. Embroidery was modest and often not visible at all under the outer clothing, or it was limited to the collar and cuffs. No one walked around in a white embroidered shirt (vyshyvanka) as outerwear—back then, it was considered undergarment. ⚔️ Weaponry and Status A Cossack was, first and foremost, an elite warrior—the equivalent of modern special forces. His appearance depended on his wealth. Clothing had to be functional: leather boots, a wide belt for holding weapons, and a mandatory headpiece (a hat with a fur trim). Why did Russia invent a different image? The goal was simple: to devalue the Cossacks. From a formidable military force that dictated terms to kings and tsars, the Cossack was turned into an opera character who does nothing but drink vodka, eat dumplings (varenyky), and dance the Hopak in ridiculous wide pants. Unfortunately, due to Russian influence, this image migrated to Ukraine. Even some styles of the Hopak dance seen today were distorted by Russian interference, which outrages those Ukrainians who know their true history. P.S. This phenomenon (the imposition of a primitive culture) is often referred to as “Sharovarshchyna,” a term that stems precisely from this distortion of history, which is eagerly embraced by uncritical patriots (the equivalent of the Russian “vatnik”).

Nestor Makhno was a Ukrainian anarchist who commanded an army larger than that of the Russians during the period of Soviet occupation. Makhno led the Revolutionary Insurgent Army of Ukraine (known as the "Black Army"). At its peak, it numbered over 100,000 fighters. He invented the tachanka (a horse-drawn carriage with a mounted machine gun), which became a symbol of mobile warfare at that time. Just as in the case of Zalizniak, the Bolsheviks (Red Russians) initially formed an alliance with Makhno to defeat the White Army, but later treacherously stabbed him in the back, attempting to destroy his army and the free councils in Hulyai-Pole. Despite his anarchist views, Makhno fought for the right of Ukrainian peasants to manage their own land and lives without dictates from Moscow—even though he betrayed the Ukrainian army in a decisive battle. It was his betrayal that allowed Russia to occupy Ukraine and forcibly incorporate it into the USSR. If Makhno had remained on Ukraine’s side, Ukraine would never have become part of the USSR, because Russia simply did not have the strength to defeat Ukraine. I wonder how the events of World War II would have unfolded in that case?

📱 Russian messenger "Max" prevents users from unsubscribing from propaganda channels One Russian user tried to leave Solovyov’s propaganda channel, but in vain — the channel reappears instantly, and the "report" button is missing. 😉 MAX was launched in 2025, following which Russia began blocking WhatsApp and Telegram. 🔍 Context The MAX messenger (often referred to as the "Orthodox messenger" or "Cheburnet") was introduced as an "import substitution" for Western services. In reality, however, it is a tool for direct control. According to technical reports from independent researchers, "state channels" are integrated into MAX and cannot be removed from the inbox folder. Any attempt to unsubscribe from Vladimir Solovyov or Margarita Simonyan is either flagged by the system as an error or simply ignored.
