CSK is too much dependent upon MS Dhoni the captain. I remember the season, where they made Jadeja captain & CSK was looking completely clueless which made CSK to sack Jadeja & CSK won trophy under MS next season. Then looking at Dhoni's age, they given the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2024 after winning 2023 season & now CSK has been the worse team since 2024. MS Dhoni the captain has taken CSK to Final 10 final including 5 trophies & without his leadership, this team looks completely shit. Dhoni is now 45 & they seriously need to find a capable calm leader & I think Sanju Samson is the only one who can take them forward.

Used to be times when the target is in 120-130 range, the effort in fielding would be at the best. Saving runs wherever possible and converting half chances to wickets. Could see none of that with us, better to forfeit than bowl for the sake of completing the game
