@eddiejaoude I think many, me included heh, are adopting AI driven development workflows for either business or side project use. So it’s removing contrib time. Well that and it’s now faster to build your own cms than to do plugin welding (as I call it) using Wordpress.

@loftwah I just deployed an RPC to my ERP API marketplace, for the IOS and android mobile apps. It connects to on prem and cloud based instance deployments... there is so much testing and a lot of moving parts. Even with a lot of experience it still involves fixing a lot of things.

DevOps frequently kicks my ass. I have been in the game for years and there is so much I see others do and talk about that I have never seen before.

@DeveloperSteve Seems you're comparing WordPress to literally building your own CMS. Which.... like 0.01% of the world would want to do. The beauty of all this is people get to pick what they prefer.

I've never cared for WordPress Multisite. But, extracting a sub-site and turning it into a standalone install used to be hard. Claude Code with SSH access on both ends makes it pretty quick and painless, I must say. Extracted out from one server and migrated to another server - only now it isn't a sub-site anymore.
