@peppercoyote @IbexesBumper I meant psychologically. If something is taxed very heavily, i.e. earning money, I'm less motivated to earn money. If something is funded by said taxes I dislike, i.e. that one country near the suez canal, I am now even more demotivated to earn money.

@DevianDice @IbexesBumper This type of logic is a distraction. Taxation is not the enrichment of public funds, it is the removal of currency from circulation. It primarily targets the poorest of society, while leaving the richest alone. It is upward mobility of wealth.

Just for more context this dude was aggressive and made everyone in this pic uncomfortable. He asked for money after demanding he took a photo with us and asked to be paid for it afterwards. He then walked off talking to himself whilst itching and scratching himself.
