16U HoopSeen Association Championship @DevinButtsElite - 63 CKLRS - 55 Physical, chippy game between 2 great programs that ended with DBE making enough plays to take home the title. Zion Dixon continues to impress our staff and displayed a ton of leadership qualities in the win. He communicates, he scores, he rebounds, he makes the right play. Dixon is a 2028 we’re excited to continue watching develop as he finished the championship with 13p 5a 6r 3s. Ajavion Wilson led DBE in scoring as he ended with 14p 5a 5r 2s with 10 of his points coming in the first 4 minutes of the game. Off the bench, EJ Camon was impressive with 9p 8r 2b & looks the part of a long-term prospect to keep an eye on with his frame & motor. OTR Power 24 2027 6’4 CG Jaylen Nelson (@Jayylennjames4) (Devin Butts Elite) Nelson is a shifty guard who plays with speed and patience on the offensive end where he didn’t get rattled when opposing defenses were playing physical on him. He can also score on all three levels where he was efficient both off the catch and bounce. On defense, he was active in the passing lanes as well as adding solid rim protection in the win over Tier 2 Elite. #OTRPower24

Rowan Woodrich (@RowanWoodrich27) is a versatile forward who can switch between the 4 and the 5 and has a solid outside shot. He made great moves down low to finish at the basket. Stand out performance, finished with 20 pts. @DevinButtsElite

Andrew Wahiwe (@Andrew_Wahiwe) is a lead guard with good game iq and elite finishing ability. Through the whole he found his teammates in the right spots and facilitated the offense well. He also slashed well to the basket for some tough finishes. Ended with 14pts. @DevinButtsElite

17U - An impressive all around performance today from Lloyd Johnson from Devin Butts Elite who made a major impact on both ends of the floor. They brought home a win over Hoops Untied 67-47. He set the tone defensively, locking up his matchup, forcing tough shots, and creating turnovers that led to easy transition opportunities.
