This is Eileen.
A 31-year-old woman who died by assisted suicide.
Eileen was raised in an abusive home and struggled with mental illness.
She faked paperwork in order to receive lethal drugs.
Then ingested the drugs and died in her hotel room.
Eileen had no physical illness.
She was not a resident of Oregon.
She did not undergo a waiting period.
Yet was able to be killed, even though she repeatedly admitted that she didn't actually want to die.
This is the result of normalizing assisted suicide.
And vulnerable people pay the price.
