Porn is literally a digital drug that wrecks your brain just like physical drugs do

"I only watch porn once in a while" is the most dangerous story a man can tell himself because it convinces him it's not that bad, and he can keep going that way indefinitely.

The most disciplined client I ever coached went to the gym 6 days a week, ate clean, made great money but still couldn't perform with a real woman. Discipline doesn't override a hijacked dopamine system causing erectile dysfunction.

Porn literally rewires a man's brain to respond to a screen instead of the woman lying next to him.

Young and middle-aged men with ED don't have a blood flow problem. They have a neurological problem. Their brain has been wired to respond to a screen, not a person, which is why a pill won't fix it. They have to fix the wiring.

Porn doesn't destroy relationships with a fight. It destroys them with silence.

TRT can raise a man's energy and drive. But it won't undo porn-induced erectile dysfunction. Porn trains the dopamine reward center on novelty and rapid escalation, while a real woman is just one person. The brain has to relearn that.

Cold showers and blocker apps don't fix porn addiction. They manage it. There's a big difference.

@Devinmcdermott Very true. However, managing it while you are fixing it can be helpful. Sometimes the road to fixing a heart issue is aided by managing behavioral issues.

The gap between a man and his partner doesn't start in the bedroom. It starts in the silence at dinner. The jokes that stop landing. The comfort that turns into emptiness. By the time he notices, she's already grieving the version of him she fell in love with.

When a woman stops initiating. Stops lingering after a kiss. Stops looking at you the way she used to.. She's not just losing interest, she's learning to want less so the disappointment doesn't cut as deep because her man is messing up somewhere.

@GiffLasta True, training the "sit in discomfort" muscle is a pretty important part of the process. And cold exposure is a decent intro

@Devinmcdermott Cold showers are the closest of those examples to something helpful. For some, they are an introduction to the very idea of "I can be comfortable with discomfort" or "I can do hard things."

Cold showers don't rewire neural pathways. Blocker apps don't retrain your dopamine reward center. Willpower doesn't rebuild the connection between your frontal cortex and limbic system. These tools manage the surface. They don't fix real problem.
