Bro, I’ve been hearing this stadium talk for 10 years. I literally don’t give a fuck anymore and I just wish that the Rays would go play in Canada and just call it a day. My boss lives two blocks away from Tropicana Field and the thought never even occurred to me. Oh hey wow you can go watch Ray’s games. He never has gone to a rays game and I never thought to even bring it up because it’s so fucking boring I would quite literally rather watch grass grow and paint dry then watch another fucking Rays game. After you see like 50 games at $23 a ticket and you’ve seen quite literally every single fucking thing that can happen in baseball. There’s really no point to go see more baseball games. I mean, I’ve seen Derek Jeter hit a home run. I’ve seen David Ortiz hit a grand slam. I’ve seen Alex Rodriguez hit a grand slam. I was at a World Series game. I watched the rays win the pennant. I mean I’ve literally seen everything. I remember when Carl Crawford stole homebase I was at the game. I mean I’ve seen every fucking thing WHO CARESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Credit to Hal Steinbrenner. He will actively lose money if the Rays move to Tampa. He also refused to make a profit on letting the Rays use GMS Field in 2025, charging them only operating costs. Hal truly sees other MLB owners as his partners.
