Discourse surrounding the AI usage in this project is so silly.
Code is fundamentally different from art for its utilitarian value, we're pursuing a specified outcome. A problem with a lot of vibe coding is that people tend to miss the more meta parts of the outcome (maintainability, scalability, and security) and just focus on producing the correct output.
However, I've personally contributed (0.15%) to the SSB Melee decompilation effort, and I can assure you it is some of the most mind-numbing work out there. You're reverse-engineering random ass functions that you cannot even map to in game behavior, hoping to produce an output that literally matches a binary 1:1. I cannot think of a better task to hand off to AI.
