@arvalis NFTs and now bots mimicking artists. Makes me wish I were born in a time where I wouldn’t have to worry that my career as an artist is on the edge of becoming obsolete. Maybe a new art movement can begin, like with expressionism after cameras became widespread? Would be nice.

Artists should be more than a little concerned about what this can do now and what it will be able to do in the future. Its super cool but potentially very threatening to many jobs.

@SamSantala I hope it's not the less savory latter reason. I'm so tired of virtually every major app or platform out there being terribly shitty or the founder being a terribly shitty person.

Artstation, which is the *current* main hub for artists to show off their work, appears to be censoring or deleting pro-Ukraine or war critical content. I don't know if this stance is to avoid politics (which art is fairly intwined with) or for some other... Less savoury reason

5/5 One of the last things I worked on was a collection of fictional albums with English and fictional alien text for a record store. In total I made 23 using my own photography or free-to-use imagery. You may recognize some of them are recreations of already-existing albums.

THREAD 1/5 I've never drawn so much in so little time; I had ~2 months to make as much as I could for #VineWorlds and I'm incredibly happy with how much I created as I am proud to have worked with such an incredible team of @vinesauceisHOPE volunteers.
