@Aussie_Legend Its a kind of vibe i have consumed through movies like ET or Goonies etc. Or games like Life is Strange/Lost Records. Its fine. I will still enjoy the game for what it is, by whoever made it. People just need to stir shit up.

The perception that 7 out of 10 is not good often comes from how data is distributed, the probability curve, & how success thresholds is defined!

Too many people think this is like grade school where a 69 and below is a failing grade. 5 is average, 6 is fine/okay, 7 is good, 8 is great. Glad our scale is like IGNs because if a 7 was considered a BARELY passing score (a 70 or a D in school) and 0 to 6.5 meant a failing grade, that's way too much real estate on the scale to grade a bad game. I don't need that many levels to let you know how badly a game is failing. I prefer to have more space on the scale to describe a game I genuinely recommend or enjoy.

This is a great move as far as I'm concerned, as I'm far more interested in other Game Pass offerings than I am Call of Duty.
The move won't be as much of a surprise to those who've been following sales reportage.
Circana and GSD sales, financial data and reports etc, made it clear Game Pass cannibalisation led to huge Call of Duty sales decline, and the removal of the game from the service will aim to rectify some of that.
It does however create an interesting dynamic where two of the championed benefits of the Activision acquisition are essentially now moot; that it'd be good for consumers due to COD being available to more players on GP without a price increase, as well as being good for employees. A few years on and not only is COD no longer on GP day one, but there's been an eye watering number of layoffs at Activision.
Either way, from a pricing and subjective value standpoint, this is preferable to me personally.

Game Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players. Starting today, we’re dropping the price from $29.99 to $22.99/month. Future Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate on day one. They will join this tier the following holiday after launch (about a year later).
