@Dezachu As a solo queue, I like it. Defending is so much easier with lack of comms. I feel Attacking is so much more communication/coordination heavy, which I find a lot more difficult with 0 comms.

While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. @Dezachu Personally, I believe siege should inherently be a bit defender sided. I think having good attacks is the true mark of a great team, which is why the highest attacker win rate team won SLC. I think the attacker meta with snake and now Dokk is becoming obnoxious and not fun

@aliasad1998 I think we could be slightly over the cusp at the moment - the trap meta we're in is because of the dominance of Deimos/Dokka/Snake etc. Won't get any better with Dokka's rework. Could defo do with pulling back on those ops especially

@Dezachu Mind you there is a limit to how strong we’re talking here. 2018 Atlantic City was the worst high level event from a gameplay perspective and operation chimera was the least balanced season ever for a reason. Anything more than what we have right now will turn into that.

@Dezachu Good thing. Attacks now can be a bit obnoxious but an insane execute will always be more satisfying to watch than defenders holding angles behind shields and the outcome of certain sites being a given. Just look at DZs attacks this major. No counters but still incredible to watch

Because the dataset isn't massive, it's probably skewed by a couple of games. Club for example, Falcons v SR saw only 4 defensive wins across 15 rounds. DZ v WC saw only 4 across 11 rounds. Labs definitely surprised me. Not sure if it's a meta thing but defenders definitely felt more aggressive in defending IT for example, and teams appeared to roam a lot more when defending basement.

@Dezachu @AceOfPyrite What could’ve led to the diff btwn labs and club, since they play similarly I would expect sameish winrates (like SI), but labs getting more defender sided while club turned attacker? Ik one was out longer but that sudden change in 3 months is absurd

Defender win % from Salt Lake City was 53.2% vs Six Invitational 2026's 54.1% - a 0.9% swing towards the attackers. Notable DEF W% changes compared to SI: 📈 Labs rose 10%, from 53% (6th) to 63% (2nd) 📈 Border rose 5%, from 49% (9th) to 54% (5th) 📉 Fortress fell 6%, from 63% (1st) to to 57% (4th) 📉 Lair fell 7%, from 53% (5th) to 46% (9th) 📉 Club fell 8%, from 55% (4th) to 47% (8th)
