Sources: rumors of a multi-team deal are swirling around the league water cooler this morning. More to come as details emerge.

Per sources, the internal back-and-forth at Tim Fox related to the decision on whether to trade franchise WR Justin Jefferson for win-now help. Tim Fox (5-5) has so far stood pat, with just under 30 minutes until the deadline. The club is tied atop Wild Rose entering Week 11.

“It seemed like he was the one calling the shots [at the deadline],” one Wild Rose GM said on condition of anonymity. “He’s like that creepy Texans priest guy [Jack Easterby], lurking in the shadows,” said another DGFL exec. “He killed multiple deals,” a GM stated pointedly.

Over the last week+, we’ve had 5 significant DGFL trades. Almost exactly one week away from the deadline - Nov. 15 at noon CT - how many more deals will we see? Our league sources tell us that the conversations are abundant league-wide as of Wednesday morning.

BREAKING: a week and a day before the trade deadline, The Church and Big Loaf have hooked up on their second deal of the 2023 season, with WR Jaylen Waddle and TE Sam LaPorta headed to Tampa and RB Jahmyr Gibbs moving to The Oven.

The deals keep coming: The Big Loaf is acquiring QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Chris Olave from The Baron for a 2024 3rd round pick.

BREAKING: the first trade deadline domino has fallen, as The Black Swan Baron has agreed to ship RB Derrick Henry and TE Dallas Goedert to The Church for a 2024 1st round pick.

The DGFL trade deadline is 2 weeks from tomorrow - Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 1p ET. In other words - the Wednesday following Week 10 results. All trades must be accepted by 12:59p ET on that date.

The trade winds are swirling in the DGFL. As of Wednesday morning, as many as a half dozen teams - 50% of the league - were actively engaged in trade talks of varying seriousness, league sources tell DGFL News.

The 2R1C brain trust is fielding offers for QB Aaron Rodgers, sources tell DGFL News this morning. With cornerstone Patrick Mahomes locked-in as the starter at QB and 1st round pick RB Josh Jacobs not yet with the team, GMs Bumgarner & Johnson prefer to swap Rodgers for a RB.

Report: The Chiefs front office is in disarray just under 2 hours until the Draft, sources close to DGFL News report. One GM is reportedly in the middle of an offsite tête-à-tête with rival and BAB AGM Unit, while the other GM is “running late” en route to the draft location.
