In 2019, Lotus Evija set a record as the most powerful electric supercar in the world with a capacity of 1,972 horsepower and a maximum speed of 320 km/h. Only 130 units were produced. With a monolithic carbon fiber design, enhanced aerodynamics, and reduced wind resistance by eliminating side mirrors and door handles, the Evija is truly impressive. Advanced rearview camera system replaces traditional mirrors.

Botulinum toxin. Scientists now agree that botulinum toxin, a compound produced by anaerobic bacteria, is the most toxic substance known. Just one nanogram per kilogram of body of this substance is enough to cause instant death. There are different types of botulinum toxin with type A being the most potent. The structure of this substance is a polypeptide, consisting of more than 1,000 amino acid molecules joined together. They cause muscle paralysis by blocking the creation of the nerve molecule acetylcholine. However, this type of substance is applied in the cosmetic and beauty industry. A small enough amount of botulinum will cause facial muscles to stop working and thereby minimize wrinkles.

Beautiful, Easter Island (Rapa Nui), Polynesia. These ancient statues (according to some theories) were blamed for the demise of the Easter Islanders. Transporting them on logs would destroy the forests, and without the trees the soil would erode, causing crop failures, famine, war and cannibalism. But satellite images of Easter Island in 2005 showed dust rising from the quarries where these mysterious 10m high statues were carved. After attaching ropes to the Moai's heads, small groups can move these statues by "walking" them.

Modi’s ‘divine India’ vision threatens to marginalize millions...The consecration of a controversial Hindu temple symbolizes the seismic shift from India’s secular founding values, analysts say, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi disregards norms separating religion from state in his push to win a rare third term this year.Modi presided over a lavish opening ceremony last month of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in the sacred town of Ayodhya, fulfilling a longstanding promise to voters that helped propel him and his Hindu-nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in 2014.

Talks on a Gaza deal are at an impasse. Here’s what we know...Talks on a hostage and ceasefire deal for Gaza appear to be at an impasse. Israel’s top-level delegation has returned from Cairo, and there has been no word from Hamas on its position in recent days.Hamas made a detailed proposal this month for a four-and-a-half-month ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed it as “delusional” at the time, but indirect talks in Cairo continued as Israel faced pressure from its allies to negotiate, and Hamas faced the prospect of a major Israeli offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where over a million Palestinians are sheltering.
